NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - The City of Cleveland, OH has ordered another 18 LET2 low entry crew cab chassis from Crane Carrier Company, a division of the Hines Specialty Vehicle Group (HSVG). The add-on order brings the total number of chassis ordered by the City of Cleveland to 25 in 2015. "A great day in the land!" HSVG President and CEO Randy Rollins said. HSVG began manufacturing Crane Carrier chassis exclusively in the Buckeye state in late 2014, and the orders from Ohio's second largest city represent significant local business for the Crane Carrier brand. The initial seven chassis ordered in February are expected to be delivered to Heil in Ft. Payne, AL for waste management up-fitting the first week of June. The additional 18 chassis ordered in May are expected to begin production in New Philadelphia later this summer.

HSVG hosted officials from Cleveland's Motor Vehicle Maintenance department and Valley Ford Trucks, the Crane Carrier distributor in Ohio, on Tuesday, May 19th, at its facility in New Philadelphia, OH. Commissioner Jeff Brown, Superintendent Tom Kushner, Unit Leader Derek Smith, Valley Ford General Sales Manager Andy O'Donnell, and Valley Ford Fixed Sales Manager Ross Chapman met with HSVG's Executive Leadership and Production teams. The visit to the HSVG facility was capped off by product and factory tours as well as a viewing of the City of Cleveland's chassis currently in production.
